Magnus Carlsen – Mozart in the Chess World

The documentary film MAGNUS is about the chess world prodigy Magnus Carlsen’s life from his childhood to the world chess champion. After watching this film, you cannot help but wonder how mystery the the human brain is. Does the human brain really has memory limit? How can human brain’s memory possibly be better than a computer? After watching the film, you will believe that Magnus Carlsen is a living example of super memory genius. Some people commented on Magnus’s impossible super memory in the film as: Magnus wore tennis shoes to climb Mount Everest. He is Mazart in the chess world, and Einstein  in the science world.

Magnus was a quite different boy from his peer at young age. He seemed living in his own world most of the time. He quite often lost in his thoughts and his mind always wondered to somewhere else. He likes to keep his thoughts to himself. In his own words, he said: ” it is easier not sharing than sharing”. He also expressed the loneliness in his own world because it is very frustrating to let people understand.  Indeed, it’s lonely at the top. Only when you are in that place, you will understand it yourself.
