Yesterday, astronauts Bob and Doug made a history. They finally returned to Earth after two months long first commercial crewed mission to the International Space Station.
These two astronauts are my superhero. I admire their courage and coolness. I’ve watched their entire launch and touchdown with so much excitement. When I was watching, I asked myself again and again: what are they made of?. How can they be so fearless, so calm and so courageous when they face the risk and challenge? I saw they were always smile. They always thumbed up. They were always very calm and humous. And, believe it or not, they are so alike: both of them are married to astronauts. Both of them always had their young son in their mind when they gave a talk. And, they are best friends in life and in work. What else can you expect from a man? They are great human being. They have so many God’s blessings.
They are also very humble. When the whole world were cheering for their achievements, the first thing they said was to thanks the whole engineering team for their excellent work which gave them a lifetime opportunity to go to the space, to enjoy unbelievable views in the space.
Bob and Doug inspire me. I told myself: when you face chaos, think how cool Bob and Doug are; when you have fear, think how courageous Bob and Doug are. I believe I am not the only one touched and inspired by Bob and Doug. Thumb up to Bob and Doug. I will try to be like you: always thumb up.
