Tasting Notes: Life

“Tasting wine is like tasting life,” she said thoughtfully, swirling her glass.
“Some moments are dry, some are sweet… and some leave a weird aftertaste.”

I nodded, glass in hand.
“Yeah. Sometimes clumsy. Complicated. Definitely overpriced.”

She smirked.
“And half the time, you pretend to enjoy it—because you already paid for it.”

I raised my glass.
“And if you swirl it too much trying to understand it… you spill it.”

She grinned.
“Don’t overthink it, or you’ll miss the fun part.”

We both laughed. Then drank anyway.
