I’m not someone who goes to church regularly, but religion still brings me a sense of peace and comfort. The belief shared by many faiths—what goes around comes around—has become a quiet guide in my life. It helps me stay calm, especially during difficult times.
Today, Pope Leo XIV’s first address really made me reflect. He said, “In this our time, we still see too much discord, too many wounds caused by hatred, violence, prejudice, the fear of differences, and an economic paradigm that exploits the earth’s resources and marginalizes the poorest.”
His words reminded me of how conflicts within families often reflect the world’s deeper divisions. But I believe the answer—whether in our homes or across the globe—is the same: we must learn to walk on the path of God’s love, with hearts open to forgiveness and compassion.
