Wabi-Sabi: ZERO Stress From Japanese Philosophy

Japanese words “wabi”, which can be translated as: “less is more”.  Word “sabi”, which means attentive melancholy. Wabi-Sabi calls for us to take pleasure from the imperfect world and to appreciate the simple beauty in life.

It calls for us to live modestly, learn to be satisfied with our life. if we can learn to love the things that already exist, for all their chips and cracks, we wouldn’t need to buy new things that are unnecessary.

It has its roots in Zen Buddhism, which emphasizes self-control and meditation practice.
