The True Sign of Intelligence Is Not Knowledge But Imagination – Einstein

Imagination is the only creative way to brings you new ideas. It leads you to the discoveries. It expands your world. Imagination seems like daydreaming.  It is a free style way of thinking.  If we can scientifically define imagination,  it generally involves two phases.

1. Divergent thinking

‘Divergent thinking’ is a process of intuitive thinking. You start from your main problem. And then you let your thought go different directions. You try to find a wide variety of conventional or unconventional solutions by break a rule and create a new rule.

2. Convergent thinking

‘Convergent thinking’ is the process of analytical thinking. It is a process of evaluation and elimination. It helps you to evaluate the ideas for usefulness. It helps you to select a right solution by eliminate the wrong one.

However, no matter where your imagination lead you to, you need to experience or prove your imagination by working on it. May it be a solution to a problem, or a writing, an art or a composing. You can get more creative ideas by throwing yourself into your work.  Imagination and work complement each other.  There are no success without imagination and hard work.

Throw yourself into imaginary worlds. It leads you to your success. It is a wonderland. It is a genius world. Einstein once said: ‘The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.’
